Grass proof cloth, also known as plastic film or grass suppression cloth, is a geotechnical material used to prevent the growth of weeds. It can effectively inhibit weed growth and protect the soil from erosion and loss.

Cleaning the base: Before laying the anti grass cloth, the base of the construction area needs to be cleaned. Remove soil, weeds, stones, and other debris from the surface of the base to ensure that it is flat, dry, and solid.

Laying plastic film: According to the design requirements, lay the grass proof cloth perpendicular to the direction of the construction area. You can use a cutter or scissors to cut the plastic film into appropriate sizes and then lay it. During the laying process, it is necessary to ensure that the plastic film completely covers the construction area and avoid overlapping and deviation as much as possible.

Fixed plastic film: After laying, it should be fixed in a timely manner. U-shaped nails or fixing nails can be used to fix the geomembrane to the substrate. The position and spacing of fixed points should be arranged according to specific design requirements to ensure the stability and reliability of the plastic film.

Setting drainage slope: If drainage is required in the construction area, a certain slope can be left when laying the plastic film to allow water to be discharged smoothly. Ensure that the setting of the plastic film does not affect the drainage effect.

Inspection and repair: After fixation is completed, an inspection should be carried out to ensure that the laying and fixing quality of the grass cloth meets the requirements. If any damage or defects are found, they should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.
